I've been involved in photography for nearly 40 years. I had an uncle that dabbled in photography and he gave me my first 35mm Argus camera, when I was in my teens, which I still have today. My work has been displayed in multiple galleries on the east coast, been published in books, and sold at art festivals.

I also have a love of travel. I enjoy photographing and experiencing places I never dreamed I would have a chance to see. I love traveling to Europe. It is so filled with history, buildings that were built in the 11th century still being used today, people still tied to their heritage and traditions. I have been fortunate enough to travel to 50+ countries on 6 different continents thus far.

I also have a very large place in my heart for animals, both wild and domesticated. I am currently "owned" by 2 Siamese cats whom my wife and I adopted through the Virginia Siamese Rescue, a wonderful organization.
